I'll say it again... it's not a binary "canon" or "not-canon" thing. The games are "more canon" than the books, and I'd say Staten's authorship easily makes Contact Harvest "more canon" than the others. : This is why I have accepted ILB as canon. Bungie mentioned the planet
Wait... you call it canon because of one cross-reference and a crossover mention? That's crazy talk. Someone from Bungie already mentioned that if they were forced to make a binary "canon" or "not canon" call, ILB would fall on the "not canon" side. I don't necessarily call it "not canon" except anyplace it contradicts anything else we know.
