Useful for LANs, too, and far : less expensive than the wireless doojigger. I just ran the cable along my : wall... Well the router is on a different floor than the Xbox, in the opposite end of the house. Add to that, the router will eventually be upstairs instead of down and it could possibly be closer at that point. We need to have some of the house's electrical upgraded, so when that happens, I may be ina better spot to hook it up. I measured once and it was more than 50ft. It would have to pass two rooms, up a flight of steps and through two more rooms just to have a straight connection. Not feasible yet.
