That was a good approach, Charles, but please don't think that you are getting the "half the fun of Halo" by zooming in a 427KB JPEG file. It has losen ALL that ridiculous level of detail. It doesn't matter how well our NVidias perform. You can't expect a vid card to extract more detail from a file than what really is on it. (Photoshop image expanding capabilities ruins a bit this argumentation :) ). With a 50MB TIFF fit to a 1280*1024 resolution obviously has a LOT of info you can extract by zooming in, but this JPEG file, even looking amazing, is a bit lowered.
