: This has probably been brought up before but here I go. : My question is this: Why did the Forerunners continue to insist on employing : squishy, sentient flood-bait as soldiers to combat the parasite menace : when they have proved quite capable of employing trillions of : infection-immune, flood-destroying Sentinals? How many Sentinels did they have at the time? Perhaps not many or even any. They could have been created by automation on various facilities for about 100,00 years. There may not have been many at all during the Forerunner-Flood war.
