In Response To: Re: There's pie in that thar sky (Jman) : I could see why some people might like that, but really I think that wouldn't : really be fair to Marty. I'm not saying he would be offended (which is : somewhat outrageous) but after Marty goes and composes these brilliant : pieces for use in the game, just being able to click a button and turn off : all the goodness (though I understand why this might be a useful option) : wastes a lot of time on the part of the composer. People might do this : (obviously not REAL Halo fans) without first completing the campaign and : all the well-timed moments that the music kicks in, or the way it subtly : fades away would be missed (then again if it's so subtle then you : shouldn't miss it ;)) halo PC has an option to turn the music and sound effects volume levels seperately, like any other sensible PC game. so sometimes I just turn the music volume to 0, or even just to 1 or 2, then that makes the loudest parts of the soundtrack just audible during startling moments..... I guess there's a reason for that option, though, since on Halo PC, much of the sound can be...glitchy, with EAX enabled...
