(WortroW) : The Halo Wars trailer seems more photorealistic than any other Halo stuff : we've seen before, that's probably why everything looks strange. I think : that's a problem since it helps kill alot of the "Halo vibe" I : think any Halo game should have, FPS, RTS or whatever. When everything is : a shade of dark navy blue... yeah, that's weird. By the looks of it, its pre-rendered. A CG movie basically. And generally speaking when you have pre-rendered vs realtime, the pre-rendered is the definitive version as you don't really have performance concerns like polygon counts and fps. But this is a bit beyond just more detail like you see on the Marines or Spartans. The actual shape of the Elites seems to have changed as well as the way they move. And that's what I'm less keen on. Yeah, the Jackals changed a lot between Halo and Halo 2, but... bah, just starting to dive into the realm of opinions there and I know mine aren't worth anything, so why go on about it. Not keen on it, but what happens, happens.
