There's a new page in the spiral path megabattle section at Bad Cyborg, about a method of boosting the size of the initial horde that comes down the path or accumulates behind a blockade. You can get EVERYONE to join in, rather than hanging back as many would normally do. That can be around 50 enemies on Heroic or Legendary. Better hope your Mjolnir's in good shape! There are other benefits too. A change in enemy behaviour allows some novel battle plans, you can bring extra Marines to the party (potentially giving you ELEVEN ready for battle), and you can arrange to play without music if that's what you prefer. The method was originally used in the recent 'Ice horde carnage' update, but then I realized it had a lot more potential and gave it the full works. I've had some great megabattling using this idea (it was a bad Christmas for the covies), so give it a go!
