hmmm... well let's see... gravemind tries to fool us into thinking he's a friend, he even gets cortana to think that he's, better yet, [it] is a friend. He just uses them as a diviersion so he can launch an attack on high charity. We can expect all the crew on Amber Clad to be dead and flood infested, as well as the marines. only problem is... HOW. HOW DID the flood get into the amber-clad? did they fool them into thinking it was them with a dropship full of parasites? no, becuase i'm pretty sure they need a voice comfermation in order to land. well even in the second book, when the camo elites hijack a pelican to land on the butte, they still had seavral fire teams standing by. so the real question is how did they capture a space ship? anyway to get back to my point, making a deal with a gravemind is like shooting your self when he finally betrays you. even in the book when the flood is capturing the location of earth, they craved to know how many humans were on earth, sensing their was many, it pressed onto find its location till keyes had only earth's location left. then keyes died.
