While she's finding her way Regret is killed, and Arbiter lowers the containment shield. The shield is the elevator surrounding the index...just like in Halo 1 when you beat the library. 343GS "The energy shield surrounding the index will deactive when we reach the ground floor." Arbiter's purpose was to lower the shield from the sentinel wall instead of having to fight his way to the fourth floor of the library like the MC did in H1. Although he just fought through hordes of flood in the sentinel wall. | |
