At any rate - what if the Forerunner didn't have good intentions for the rest of the galaxy? Most of the arguments posed thus far have assumed that the Forerunner were doing something noble to 'save' the rest of the sentient beings in the galaxy. I can tell you, just from understanding a bit about Humans, is that the more power and rescources a species gets, the less they give a shit about the little dudes and are more willing to forget the grace of 'lesser' beings. All in all I dont think the Forerunner were up to nice things, and maybe the flood are a victim of some sort.
