I think the major problem with "recoil" that makes it so lame is that all that really happens is you have to keep sliding your mouse forward while you shoot. Perhaps if Bungie made it so insted of recoil just making you aim up jerkily, it could have your crosshair just bounce around. Not so much as to make shooting someone 20 feet away dificult, but perhaps someone that's 100 feet away would be harder to shoot at. Understand what i'm saying? :)
