In Response To: Ark in splinter Cell?! (H3WH01SNT) : In the first SC game, you have to stop (some terrorist who's name I kant : remember)from activating the ARK. Which is some sort of nuclear weapon. : Bungie ripped off something again! Seriously, the arc might as well be salvation, if the flood is the doom. There is no need for the arc to be a weapon since the halo's can manage to blow most sentient life away alone. Seems a bit off that the forrunners would build so many weapons on top of eachother. I'm not sure it is a weapon. Halo is pre splinter cell. I'm certain that with the flood and all -if bungie didn't figure out the story about the arc before splinter cell, they would have used the name anyway. The arc is such an obvious mythical name asociated with the flood that it was destined to be used in the story. Ripping off the bible, mate. And I would rather say "influenced by" or imply "Artistic inspiration".
