In Response To: bwhahahahahahaha (mrbananas) : so as you can see, of the two choices, one makes no sense and the other one
I beg to differ that the first dosent make sense, Guilty Spark does seem to want the flood dead but he also is quite facinated by them and as the inquisitive little guy he is he would want to find out more about them, well you can only find out so much reviewing compiled data, so he is pleased that he can now study the flood in a real world simulation: "...Its parasitic nature belies the Flood's intelligence." "Of course, samples were kept here after the last catastrophic outbreak...for study."(that pause makes me a little wary, he may have been the one who stored them there for "study" or that may not be the Forerunner's real reason, but that is just rampant speculation) "You can see how the body's been transformed by the genetic restructuring of the Flood infection. The small creatures carry spores that cause a host to mutate. The mutated host then produces spores that can pass the Flood to others. It is insidious and elegant. As long as any hosts remain, the Flood is virulent."
