Damage in books-- Nylund exxagerates

The books, especially the two Nylun novels, aren't exactly reliable concerning weapon strength and such.

For examples, in First Strike, Kelly crashes a Banshee into a Hunter. The Hunter is simply *dazed*.

Now, I understand that a book can't convey gameplay mechanics that accurately and vice versa. But still, it's kinda ridiculius when a Brute takes a full AR clip.

Concerning Grunts:

I doubt they were once some kind of uber-warrior species.
