In Response To: Damage in books-- Nylund exxagerates (MarineCorps117) : The books, especially the two Nylun novels, aren't exactly reliable : concerning weapon strength and such. : For examples, in First Strike, Kelly crashes a Banshee into a Hunter. The : Hunter is simply *dazed*. : Now, I understand that a book can't convey gameplay mechanics that accurately : and vice versa. But still, it's kinda ridiculius when a Brute takes a full : AR clip. : Concerning Grunts: I doubt they were once some kind of uber-warrior species. I never said they were uber-warriors, just that they might have been BETTER warriors with a lack of complete and total paralyzing fear.
