The hardcore community - the folks who live and die (figuratively speaking) by the issues you've claimed are important - makes up some astoundingly small percentage of Halo 2 players. (Single digits, or less, would be my guess.) Bungie can cater to them (us), and make them (us) happy... or they can put their limited resources to work satisfying the VAST MAJORITY of players, who (unfortunately) do NOT use Google to answer their questions, or know about (or care about) exploits. Yeah, it sucks... but that's the price you pay for playing a game that 5 million OTHER people want to play, too.
