It has no ironsights or any function allowing for aim, and has a giant bulk at the top of the gun that takes up about half the weight with its digital ammo counter. Granted, the compass is nice, but few people really worry about ammunition when they have 60 rounds. The design's accuracy is also HORRIBLE. Today's M4A1 Assault Rifle would probably be a better choice than the MA5B version, since it's accurate up to 300 yards. You try hitting someone at 300 yards with the MA5B as Master Chief. So I guess they decided to scrap it to get away from all the jeers at never using an AR in Halo 1 on Legendary.
