: Thanks ;)

: Although I dont deny the possibility that we will go to Covenant territory, I
: still find it highly unlikely despite what Jason said. In my opinion he
: was talking about the Unyielding Hierophant from First Strike, because at
: that point in time I dont think The Flood had even been released yet. But
: still, I agree the possibility is there.

"... Master Chief and Cortana will zip deep into the heart of Covenant territory, attacking the source of the enemy's power. 'We're definitely going to take the war to the Covenant in this one.' The climactic battle that follows will bring a measure of closure to the halo saga, something that was missing from the first game... Bungie won't tell us much about Master Chief's encounters on the Covenant's home turf - other than that it'll be nothing like the alien homeworld in the PC/PS2 shooter Half-Life."

i think that pretty obviously says that we will infact visit the covenant homeworld, and that by the end of the game, it will still be a mystery if halo 3 will be coming (unless bungie makes an announcement that early). remeber, unlike halo 1, the story has an ending this time... doesnt mean a sequel couldnt be made, but it does mean that one wouldnt have to be made in order to have the games arch completed.
