Oh my, it is an old Skav trick. Makes me miss some of the old days. Well there is something to consider here. Endiku may have modified the Covenant message to embed the hidden message. There is something of a question here... the question is "why?" If the AI was named Lucifer instead of Endiku, would we be reading about an AI who believes they are the fallen bringer of light, instead of a long dead companion of Gilgamesh? Perhaps Endiku the AI was given the data of the origins of its name when the AI was created. Then when the Endiku AI gets infected by something in the Forerunner network on Frigid, that infection seeks out the meaning of the name and that becomes the transformed AI, an AI that truly believes he is the original Endiku. Could the names of AIs be chosen carefully by design so that these AIs become the mythological beings that they are named after, once interfaced with Forerunner systems. A case of mistaken identity or a trick to gain access to Forerunner wonders? So I ponder why, why are the names important. Are the names coincidence, are the names by design, do the AIs become the legendary beings by their name or are the legendary beings already inside the AIs?
