Heh, people talk about what they like. I do take issue with picking out the two most off topic threads (which total around 30 posts) and offering them up as the complete content of the forum, though... ;) For the record, I think the reason POV debates are more common here is because b.org is the first stop for new Halo fans, due in no small part to its much higher visibility (seems like it's mentioned on IMG at least twice a week ;). And since POV is a very important issue to new gamers, and no FAQ is readily available for them, they ask the question here. This forum serves the community far better than the Core's does by this alone (though not exclusively due to this)--the education of newcomers. I think the regulars here should keep that in mind... while stale debates between people who argue ceaselessly about POV is certainly tiresome, be tolerant towards the newbies. The Oath has its uses, but it would be far more helpful just to explain the matter, or point the newbies to somewhere that does. Methinks I should write an "Introduction to Halo" article for that specific purpose... Cheers,
