Swarms = lame

In Response To: Halo "Swarms" better than "Clans&qu (Bagman)

What the heck is a swarm? As Mark points out, swarms was used as a verb... From what I recall from my brief career in the Army is this: A squad is typically around 10 or so ppl.

Then the platoon, which could be 20-50 soldiers.

Then the company, which could be made up of 1 to however-many platoons.

After that there comes the Battalion, which is the next echelon.

Then Brigade I think after that. Then Division.

Anyway, for those of you who care, Halo will probably deal with only a platoon playing at any one time and that means several squads, made up of 5 to 10 marines, roaming the battlefield. What's wrong with the name platoon and squad? They certainly are better than "swarm."
