Halo's Orbit
Posted By: SchizoidDate: 7/24/99 9:32 p.m.

For those who haven't yet, and are interested in the Halo's orbital path, take a look at the new, "2 Megs For Seven Additional Seconds", haloqt4.mov [available mostplaces]...
The new seconds clearly show the Halo orbiting the star [?] like some kind of demented Space Cheerio...I've upped 2 pictures of it on bungie.org's Hotline server [164.58.172.181].
The Halo seems to be on an orbit seperate from the planet, which we also see going around the star, albiet at a slightly farther distance. The Halo is also noticably smaller than the planet, which would make the planet [maybe we should give it a working title. I submit "Jonesworld".] quite large...[assuming the 10K diameter figure is right].

how did we ever think we'd get by without you?
you're so vain
you probably think this song is about you, don't you?"
