I'm not sure I've seen this; in which clue? There's the one with something like "floating masses above spheres of dust and air", but in context I'm fairly sure that was referring to artificial satellites (that clue waxes on about the various works of humankind in the eons the puzzle has gone unsolved ;).

The Astrarium is one "clock" with seven faces, but the number of faces is somewhat arbitrary, being seven only because of the point in history at which it was constructed.
