Wow... My first (and probably my last!) 'naked eye' look at the planet through a friends telescope, actually saw the polar caps;) Man, it made me feel small when he told me how far away it was =)

I like the idea of astronomy and Giovani DeDondi's Astrarium but there are only seven dials because thats how many planets they'd discovered at that time, I think it's co-incidence in relation to the glyphs, well thats my guess.. but who knows!
Although with the maths involved in astrology, it's worth a dig around in that field to see if anything clicks into place.
Pulsars are interesting as they do 'tick/pulse' so-to-speak and new astrological discoveries are normally given numbers.
