Well I was surfing today and I came upon this:

It is a database of ancient languages. I know Claude said that it wasn't a symbol for a letter but some of these are real close.
I also heard not too long ago that someone thought it might be some Tolkein elf language. I also thought the same thing when I first saw it but since I have no resources for that I didn't follow it up. I I thought that I might go out to a bookstore and look it up tonight. Oh well, I'll see.
