Quite some time ago I suggested, or screamed =) that G2 was very likely binary arithmetic. The bar underneeth the 32 suggests to me bits turned on and off... I started to do some binary arithmetic on it... here's what I found:

1) if you OR all of the fields together you get the number 127 (which is the equivelant of the 7 lower bits turned on). I discounted this because you got to that state before you OR'ed in the last two fields (clockwise 13 & 70).

2) If you XOR all of the fields together (in a clockwise direction, starting from top) you get just the lower 4 (?) bits turned on which is equal to 15...

3) I also did some different ways of converting the numbers to ASCII (with some modification, such as adding 32 to each number, & other such stuff)... But I didn't post that to the board. likely a red-herring IMHO.
