![]() | In Response To: Weland grid size to Unreal Tournament GOTY (ehyto) There is a way to import geometry to make things easier to build Marathon levels in Unreal Tournament 99. The process involves UT99 469d Unreal editor, Weland, and Blender. The newer UT99 update allows for OBJ files to be imported into Unreal editor. 1: In Weland, separate all the polygons information in the level into separate map files. 2: With Weland export all the separated polygons to OBJ files. 3: With Blender, import a OBJ file to be edited. 4: In Blender in object mode change the object scale from 1 to 4 on the X, Y, and Z. 5: In Blender Go to the edit mode tab and select all then go to mesh under normal, you recalculate inside then recalculate outside. 6: In Blender under the overlays tab change the grid scale to 64 or 32 or 16. Whatever you think is needed. 7: In Blender in object mode, right click the mesh and set origin to geometry to origin. You want the mesh center to be at zero and on the grid. 8: In Blender export the Mesh as OBJ. 9: In Unreal editor, go to Brush and select import. 10: Move the brush to where you want and press subtract. I'll import Aye Mak sicur to the Unreal editor with this method.
