: I cannot actually use these weapons, and I speculate that it's a placeholder
: for the WSTE-M shotguns, but the question remains: what are they?

Addendum: I've confirmed that in Marathon 1, Aleph One gives the Performa 6400/200 in place of the shotgun, and the wave motion cannon in place of the SMG.
