Ah, makes sense. Halo 2 has a BR that fires a three-shot burst and is extremely accurate. You can scope in too. At the time I stopped playing Halo 2 it was the primary weapon and nearly all tournaments used it as the starting weapon.

Yeah, I can understand that. In my opinion, if you are going to replace the AR's lousy spread with a tighter, three-burst shot, having the thing shoot grenades also makes it too powerful.

Since this is really not a replacement for the AR and more of an experiment, feel free to do whatever you like best. If you were creating a whole new weapon set I would suggest leaving the grenades off.

Now that I think about it, switching the SMG second trigger to a three-burst makes more sense.

I personally would rather have a more accurate weapon with a lower rate of fire. Then again, that is what makes the AR so useful...

Honestly, I think the SMG really provides the weapon I was looking for. So go ahead and do what you want. :)
