I suppose beefing up the critters running around the Maraverse might account for the added punch such a weapon would have. And I'm not suggesting making the grouping as tight as the SMG, just tighter than the AR as currently designed.

That's sort of where I'm leaning with it, just making a 3-shot/full auto weapon, with less damage than the AR, but also a tighter firing area.

Could be interesting. I've never really been happy with the spot-on firing of that thing. Sure, it's nice to just mow through Pfhor with it, but it seemed a little too good of a weapon, even with the ammo consumption being on the heavy side.

Yeah, that is true. Maybe I'll just mess around with the magnum instead. Or both, what the heck. It's just for shits and grins at this point.
