I did some searching but came up empty handed. I've searched for Mac .mod tools before and didn't find anything then either.
Don't you have to embed the MIDI instrument set within a .mod file? Conversions between .mod's and other files have always confused me. Anyway, my point is replying is that I honestly don't know if a solution exists for the Mac.
I also have no idea what was going on when I listened to that podcast... better brush up on my Swedish :)
