Heh, thanks Goran. I'd be interested in knowing what he has to say.
Over the past two days, I've written / formulated the look and content of the Nebulon levels terminals. Here's my explanation, via Durandal:
-On the Bridge, after an uplink is active:
... The access logs list the crew sealing off the ships upper levels. After effectively barricading themselves, they all spontaneously combusted.
I'm at an loss as to exactly why, but it's not very important at this juncture.
-In a later terminal:
Interesting. It appears that a compiler gained electronic access to the atmospheric scrubbers. Its routines introduced a chemical compound into the CO2 recycler. [snip] I almost admire the Pfhor's solution to selectively disabling the Nebulons without resorting to large scale, messy confrontation. It reeks of Tycho.
Of course, we never actually meet *the* Tycho in WMaiD - that's fufilled later in Rubicon. Although the Tycho Derrivitive Units (T.D.U's) are an interesting concept I explore later in the scenario.
