Yes, most of the text is just filler. Kinda like the Latin you see in mock ups.

The actual poster sold by Bungie had no text and was for the 20th anniversary of Bungie not Marathon. Sold back in July 2011. Some folks will remember they also sold those retro look posters for PID, Marathon and Myth by David Candland. Remember him?
