Agreed - I discovered it somewhat on accident, which is really not how you should figure out how to leave a level. Most interesting, though, is the fact that you don't even have to have turned off the reactor in order to exit the level; so technically you could continue the scenario without actually having done what Fr'kna told you to do.

Agreed again. As you say, at least it's just two Drones, and they just stay in one part of the level, so more of a minor nuisance than anything serious.
