I suspect it's a combination of nobody else here having experience with your particular configuration/problem, and irritation at your long history of needing to be spoonfed things you could easily find out on your own.

I don't know specifically what's causing Weland to not work on your Mac, but the first thing I'd check is whether it's compatible with whatever hardware and version of Mac OS you're running.

Frankly, though, the practical solution is to just do your mapping with Weland on Windows.
