Dodgy translations are GO (KCK 1)

In Response To: Re: The Kah-co-kh series (more old JP Marathon) (General-RADIX)

And I do mean "dodgy". Take all of this with a big 'ole shaker-o-salt; I make no claims to extensive knowledge of Japanese, and had to go back-and-forth between Google, Jisho.org, and lists of particles and denominators. It's probably easy to tell where I got tripped up.

(Note: I'm assuming that Flea is female, since she addresses the SO with 'kimitachi', which is apparently mostly used by young girls)

If anyone can offer any corrections, please do.

How are you feeling after awakening from cryostasis?

I am Nagi.

I'm the AI who oversees and manages the station 'Kazenagi'.

...that's not a good look. Do you have a complex against AI?

Well, now's not the time to worry about such things.

Right now, your position has been ranked fourth in the lesser soldiers.

And now we're starting the promotion exam.

Just exterminate the Pfhor that have been unleashed into the middle of the Kazenagi.

With only that much, your promotion to primary combat soldier will be approved.

If that happens, when you enter combat, you can strike down as many enemies as you want.

Would you get a real kick out of that?

So, begin the (white?) search operation.

Ammunition will be infinitely supplied in various places.

When you finish exterminating the enemy, come to the terminal.

WARNING: In order to prevent terminal corruption, we've installed a booby trap on the floor right in front of it. It can be avoided if you move along the wall."

You pass.

There's a few bugs left to be smashed, buddy.

Responsibility for your actions has been entrusted to me now.

In other words, you've nobly become my exclusive warrior.

Remember it well.

Now we're going to greet Planet Theta.

Seems that something nasty is going on.

Because Theta is in the direct control district of the 0057 Unit, I'm incapable of much interference.

Combat is in infinite supply; I can determine that much.

Follow the detailed instructions of the next strategic intelligence, Flea, over in 0057.

Once you understand, hurry."

Oh, sorry. You can only identify him as 'Nagi', huh?

Well, I'm Flea. I wonder who the elite 0057 Unit is led by.

For now, I want you to take this chip containing important information and data for new weapons, and go to the center of the 0057 base camp.

Also, you'll have to do with a bad map.

Well! You ask why?

Oops, I forgot.

The BoBs are also arriving together.

Cooperate to fight well."

Are you awake?

I had better explain the situation we're in now.

You, and I as well, are in the same position to rebel.

When Flea acquired that data chip, she sank the 0057 base camp to the bottom of the lava.

The BoBs who participated in the recapture operation are also in the lava-bed.

At the same time that lady tossed you into the universe, she carried out her exile to the Pfhor.

In other words, Flea is a real traitor.

Gaah, this really sucks!

When I came to see the situation, I was surprised to find that the teleporter destination was focused on outer space.

It's good that I managed to rescue you in the nick of time, but the military has sentenced us to treason for abetting Flea's work.

I was thinking about the military's method of comeback. Since we're without work these days.

You're going to stop Flea by harshly destroying each one of her stations.

If so, I'll be able to return to the military. Possibly.

However, the armaments of my Kazenagi would be overwhelmingly inferior to take the attack seriously.

Therefore now, I wish to leisurely enjoy this spacewalk and hijack this Pfhor ship.

I'm going to teleport you into its midst so that you can harshly assault the ship.

And while you're destroying it from the inside, the Kazenagi will assist you via orbital bombardment.

In order to take over the ship, annihilate the enemy. Shortest way.

The side of the meter, if you look at the terminal's sign, has already been compromised.

I won't take ammo from the military; you'll have to go without."

First, I'll have the inertia navigation face towards the Pfhor assault vessel.

Next, I'll set the Kazenagi's teleport point to roughly midway between the two ship interiors.

And then we have to rush through the consecutive two-stage teleport to the inside.

There's three problems.

The first is to determine whether the battleships can withstand such an unrelenting onslaught.

It takes a minimum of thirty-eight seconds. I'll see if I can back you on this problem with some bombardment.

Second, there's the issue of the focal length of the teleporters.

If it fails, I'll enter a more acute perception radius.

Unfasten the safety locks on all your weapons if that happens, pal.

Well, if our luck's good, we won't have to worry about that.

Third, regarding ammunition.

Inside, the supply of ammo is nearly impossible.

If the possibility exists, it would be at the residential area.

But more than that is not guaranteed; I think that the ammo on the Kazenagi is pretty much it.
