Tycho = Doubt explained?

I sure hope nobody else hit upon this before I did. Cross-posted from me blog:

"I think I may have figured out what Tycho meant when he said 'you’ve been fighting doubt itself, elusive as I am' in Infinity.

To my understanding, once you spring him in Envy, he seemingly vanishes, and you get to work under/deal with Admiral Tfear until 'You Think You’re Big Time?..', when Tycho reappears to admonish you. Chances are, he was still working against you in the background after (again, to my understanding) you turn on the Pfhor and help Thoth; he just didn’t communicate with you because all he’d be able to manage would be furious angrish ('I’ve so far held you back from my rantings…').

Hence 'doubt' (because you’d probably be wondering where Tycho pissed off to) and 'elusive'. ‘course, there could have just been an implied second 'as', but this is Marathon we’re discussing here."

Am I onto something here?
