The grav blades have been moved to a later level so that you get at least one level of running in terror from the banshees before you get a way to readily fight them.

They're sort of a partially-implemented feature. Along with the weapon renders I'm perpetually waiting on, there will be new Bobs, including Jjaro civillians getting slaughtered by the W'rkncacnter nightmares.

Yeah. Originally, it actually was Spark, before it became clear that Halo was no longer connected to the Marathon universe and Ch5 was changed to not actually take place on Halo anymore.
