Well ... to be fair those guys are firing plasma stuff, and an absolute ton of it, so it really just feels ridiculous, but yeah the MC sure got squishy between CE and 2, and they ditched the concept of "health" entirely. It certainly goes to the wrong side of frustration, and that in the first proper level.
