A good way to quickly check original Marathon gameplay, particularly on Total Carnage is to watch the Vidmaster movies that have been converted to movies on YouTube.

And the Hunter I think you are referring to is very active. See 4 mins into the movie.

Others to watch would be Miha or Jim Mitchell. Their movies were all converted.
