I wish I knew for sure.

What I was trying to do was launch myself in the air by samwiching myself between a warthog and a plasma turret gun I launched off the first bridge.

I was using a modded xbox but I only had the 'never die' cheat on cause it would take to long to go find a usable overshield. When I smashed the first player instead of shooting into the sky like normal, his screen went white and I looked around and that was the view i got.

Sorry I can't be of more help but it kinda happened before I knew what happened and out of nowhere I wasnt expecting it really.
