In Response To: Re: Good heavens (zhakahunterDARK) : HOW? Simple question...I think we all want to know... Looked like Telebumping to me. You can be forced out of the top of a level by telebumping... You know about telefragging, right? If you try to go through a teleporter and someone is blocking the other end, his screen will get whiter and whiter until he dies, right? Well, if he jumps at the last possible second, you'll come through - but he'll be coming back DOWN as you're coming through... and you'll get warped out of the level. Depending on the type of teleporter (and even the teleporter itself), sometimes it's player 2 (the warper) that bounces out, and sometimes it's player one (the blocker) who bounces out. In Macegac's case, it was player 2 (the warper). Once you're on top of the actual structure, and out of the level, it's just a matter of remaining on the solid surfaces until you get to where you want to fall through. (Walls tend to be solid, ceilings do not.) The other player can 'illuminate' sections of the level for you, by getting into view below you. (That's what the still-in-the-level player is doing here.) | |
