the HALO and MARATHON team job posting

My money says this is a misunderstanding. I imagine that the staffing agency employee who wrote that post heard or read that the team they are recruiting for had been responsible for the titles Halo and Marathon, and decided to refer to them as "the HALO and MARATHON team".
