In Response To: Official Halo PC Strategy Guide Survey (Doug Radcliffe) Well for me, personally, I dig behind-the-scenes stuff. Seriously, if you put a few insightful interviews, maybe a couple how-this-came-from-that-idea-but-we-made-it-magenta boxouts, and that sort of stuff, I'll pretty much be your consumer/bitch. Ah, and stats. Lemme see that the red elites have xx% more shields than blue ones, y'know? And how much damage /are/ my bullets doing compared to those in the warthogs chaingun? If you stuck in a blurb for each level of the game written by (or interviewed with) whomever designed the level, that would just be peachy, man. I got to hear some level-designer chit-chat when I was lurking at the fanfest, and I just dig that stuff. Y'know, interview some voice actors. If you do, I-give-you-cookie. I guess I'm saying that I'd be looking at buying something that was more than a "there's 4 grunts around this pilar in picture (4-6b). flank 'em, soldier!" sort of guide. That's all well and good, just not my thing. And I know a lot of folks who wouldn't bat their eye twice at a standard b&w cookie-cutter strategy guide, but would snap up anything that was even /close/ to as in-depth, loved, and as thoughtfully put together as, say, one of the Lunar Complete guides. ...no, no, I don't expect hardcover. ^_^ ~Rayme (Long winded, eh? Man, you had to ask. ^_^;;)
