In Response To: Re: tell ya what.. (Dark Tru7h)

: On hboeer we've been talking about this a bit. According to Louis theres a
: kill feild there, but according to Cheese, there isn't. According to
: Cheese also, there's nothing of interest down there.
i've been working on the premise, that the fields must be able to be on/off.
the one at the bottom of sec./shaft, is really difficult to tell, quickly.
i've been experimenting w/the electric field, in the pit, going down the ramp to the map room. i put a gold elite in there, and we was moving and ok. i of course assumed, he was ok, so i would be too. nope.
i cannot prove, the two fields can be on or off, but the stories told on the forum, suggest, this could be a variable.
on this premise, i do not discount mr. wu, or anyone else. my investigations, show, that there is in fact, for some reason, at sometimes, a field over the tub.
grant you i'm a primitive, but i base my own research on how plasma grenades act, in a full or partial field.
for example, toss a grenade around, in the blue hall you look at from the shafted cutscene, platform. plasmas in that hall, have a totaly differant power output, than in normal halo space.
leads to believe that hall, is at least partially active. same for the pit, same for the tub.
this is a fine crew on this forum, i believe we will find out, either way. :)
