Oddball Glitch

I don't know if this is already known, but i think it is not...
I was playing oddball on prisoner and we were playing a self-made game...
( you could only punch somebody when the other had the oddball, and there was no shooting)
well after sometime there were a couple of body's on the floor and I had the oddball.. then I threw the oddball right between 2 body's and it disappeared..
It was still on the radar.. so I got after it but couldn't find it...
But when I got to a wall close to the overshield and it was beyond it...
(I know for sure that there was no other room behind that wall)
And then after some time the oddball was reset
(No, i'm not making this up)
(I don't have pictures or a movie , but I did get that glitch a second time)
I hope you beleive this.. because you I think this is a little too strange
