In Response To: An Examination of Biblical Parallels in Halo (Red Loser) : Chillingly thorough , no? : Any comments, additions, or suggestions are welcome. First off.. I think if you just read it you'd see that it isn't a joke. Mistakes happen -- it could have happened to anybody. I thought the substance and the connections between the game/book and the scriptures were pretty amazing. I've always wondered about the biblical names or hinted-references in the game but I couldn't imagine it being as complex as how you've explain it. (To me it's complex -- because I've never read the entire bible, I don't know a lot of the stories. So just linking the idea of the persecution of Jesus from the Jews and covenant trying to take-out the humans... it blows my mind that someone could write a story for a game, in a sci-fi genre, specifically alluding back to the bible with such profound similarities.) I'm not even joking, I thought it was really well done and comprehensive. It was a good read – very interesting, I’m glad somebody did it.
