I think it's : because nothing's really happening, outside of the Marine that's flipping : off Duke. And MC cuddling with the cat has very little to do with the rest : of the scene, so it kinda helps add to the random feeling of it all. If : you were to draw it again, I'd suggest that you find a way to connect all : the images to tell some kind of story. I only really started this yesterday. I had gone through a bunch of different ideas, and they just weren't turning out well. So, I started drawing a hunter, added an offensive marine (which I will extract for future flame wars), a couple banshees, a kitten-toting MC (which I drew sometime ago-it was in the running to replace the one on my site) and the Marathon marine (which I later replaced with Duke.) Again, given enough time I could have found a connection. I know, it's sort of just all over the place. But it's pretty (sort of), and it was on time. That's what really counts, right? : Again, though, excellant work with the lineart. Thanks, Shish.
