I am product of an experiment done by the Forerunner ages ago, when they where still young and fool hearted. One of their groups learned the secrets of time travel, but failed to inform their leaders first… they went into the future and captured a Spartan and a White Elite. They dissected both and learned the workings of each… they learned their Technical and Physical powers… Having this knowledge, they set to work combining the two into a race of great warriors. But much of their attempts failed, and in one incident, an explosion killed many of the leaders and all things involving time travel, deigning them any more specimens. After several years of trying, they finally brought about a pup with characteristics of both, and the technological attachments coded in his DNA. This creature had a light blue exoskeleton, and steal bones. Its outer shell was nearly impossible to penetrate, and even harder was it to break the inner bones. Its face more resembled the Elite, but its mind was more like the Spartan. Its bodily structure was like the Elite, but more upright. It had four small lungs, two hearts, and all the cybernetic enhancements of both parents. It’s body produces an energy shield unknown to the Forerunner, a cloaking energy could envelop the shield and turn it invisible, it’s eyesight could see in slow motion, and could move with lightning speed. Its body healed any small injury in only a day, and a large one in a week.
It was discovered that Elites produce pups in groups of 10-20… He was in the 10th batch to be attempted… They where all classified under the program name Hybrid, and in each liter, the pups where named such things as “Alfa, Beta, and Omega”… it was dumb luck that he was named Ultima, which was somewhat fitting, seeing that he was the only successful subject. This creature was uncontrollable, for it was found that Elites have race memory, and the creature took the memories of its Spartan parent. The creature raged threw the defenses on outpost 04, but was finally locked in a cold storage bay, and frozen in a block of ice. I was that creature, and was released along with the flood by a group of humans. I managed to escape on a Covenant carrier as one of their own, for who would expect such a creation as me to exist. I gave myself title of captain and fallowed the orders of the Prophets until I managed to be sent to invade a human planet. No one in my group suspected that I wasn’t one of them, but then again, who would. I slaughtered all of the Covenant that I could find, and fallowed a group of Spartans. I indiscreetly helped them at every opportunity, and fallowed them back to where they where to be debriefed. It was there that I decloaked myself, in the middle of an ONI darkroom, standing next to one of the Spartan II’s of group 2. Needless to say, the ONI fled the room, and the Spartan tried to kill me. But I managed to defeat him, and hold back the Marines, and not have even one casualty. I convinced ONI that my story was true, and joined the ranks of the Spartans… after quite a long debriefing ofcoarse.
