Weirdest Halo Speculation Ever | |

This is a really odd idea, but you never know:
The flood could very well be “drugs”. When the humans first found the flood, they didn’t think they were that dangerous, much like the case with most people and drugs. Now think of the Covenant and the Humans as two opposing gangs or somehow opposing pro-drug advocates. Captain Keyes(Keyed means high) might be considered the gang leader, and is always smoking a pipe(of what?) There is also the fact to consider if marijuana is legal in the game world. When Captain Keyes gets captured by the flood, he “succumbs” to the dangers of drugs, like all those before him. Maybe the Flood is supposed to be stoners, stupid, pointless, but very dangerous.(no offence to stoners) If my assumptions are true, then you assume that Master Chief at the end of the game realized the true “danger” of drugs. He destroys them, and their drug “ring” along with it, but not before tyring to be tricked by a “friend”(GS343, who guided him though a maze of dugs, only to obtain more dangerous drugs, aka the super weapon).
